PUBLIC NOTICE No. 175 (RE-2008)/2004-2009
NEW DELHI: Dated April 15, 2009
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy,
2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following
amendments in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol 1 (RE – 2008):
- In Appendix 30 A notified vide Public Notice 135 (RE 2008)
Dated 15th January 2009, in the column of Export Obligation Period against Sl No
1 (a), after the existing entry, the following shall be added:
“However, for imports completed up to 31.12.2008, Export Obligation Period (EOP)
shall be 150 days from the date of clearance.”
- After the first sentence of second sub para of Para 6.7 (c), as amended vide
Public Notice No. 50 dated 17th July 2008, the following shall be inserted:
“However, for imports completed up to 31.12.2008, Export Obligation Period (EOP)
shall be 150 days from the date of clearance.”
This issues in public interest.
