Amendments in ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items
Notification
No. 17 dated 27th June 2001
In exercise of powers
conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act,
1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002,
the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS)
Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 published on 31st
March, 1997 (RE-98) as amended from time to time, namely -
1.
The condition appearing in column 4 against Exim Headings 12.11, 25.04,
25.06, 25.18, 25.26, 40.08, 73.03, 73.06, 73.07, 73.09, 73.12, 73.17, 73.18,
74.15, 76.16, 84.81, 85.23, 87.14, and 90.15 shall be deleted.
2.
The condition appearing in column 4 against Exim code nos.841869 01,
841989 03, 842220 00, 842420 00 and 844790 02 shall be deleted.
3.
After amendment the following will read as under:
