In
exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development & Regulations) Act, 1992
(No. 22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy,
1997-2002, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendment in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002.
In
partial modification of the Notification No. 19 (RE-99)/1997-2002, dated 8th
July, 1999, the entry at ITC Code No. 0703 in " ITC (HS) Classification of
Export and Import Items (1997-2002,
incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) at Schedule 2
table B":

Processing and Export Corporation Ltd
(KAPPEC Ltd) for 5000 (five thousands only) MTs per month for two
months (upto 7th
September 1999).

Export through NAFED till 30th Sept. 1999 of 5000MT of Onions
(other than Poddusu and Bangalore Rose varieties) to Sri Lanka and
Mauritius.
