No. 38 dated 22nd January 1999
In
exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the of Foreign Trade
(Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of
the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the
following amendment in the Policy, 1997-2002
(incorporating amendment made upto 13.4.98) and ITC (HS) Classification
of Export and Import) item, 1997-2002 published on 31st March, 1997
and as amended from time to time.
Description
and ITC (HS) Code of Sr no 1,3, 4, 5and 6 of Import Licensing Notes 3, appearing
in Chapter 72 of the said ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items
1997-2002, after amendment shall read as under:
