Notification No. 15 dated 21^st June 2001

In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification No. 44 (RE-2000)/ 1997-2002 dated 24^th November 2000:

�Not withstanding anything contained in the Appendix V to the aforementioned notification, import of cylinders to be used exclusively in the CNG Kits for automobiles, will be exempted from the conditions at paragraph 6 of the aforementioned notification (Registration of manufacturer - exporter with BIS). However, this exemption shall be applicable only on such cylinders, import of which has been approved by Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur.�
