Amendments in PARA 4.13 - Advance Licence or DFRC for Intermediate Supplies & PARA 4.14 - Advance Release Order

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):
1. The first sub-paragraph of paragraph 4.13 stands replaced by the following clause:
The application for grant of advance licence or DFRC for intermediate supply may be made on the basis of a tie-up agreement with the exporter/deemed exporter holding an advance licence or DFRC. The licensing authority concern shall consider such requests.
2. The second sentence of paragraph 4.14 should be replaced by the following sentence:
However, in case of e-commerce application, exports/supplies made from the date of EDI generated file No. for an advance licence may be accepted provided the hard copy is submitted within three months.
