NOTIFICATION NO. 64 /(RE-2008) / 2004-2009
NEW DELHI, DATED 24 NOVEMBER, 2008

S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:

1. Import Policy for the item ‘Seamless Tubes / Pipes’ under 4 digit Exim Code “7304” will be amended to read as “Restricted” (instead of “Free”).
   
   
2. Import policy for the following Exim Codes will be amended to read as “Restricted” (instead of “Free”) :
   “2803 00 10 and 4011 20 10”
   
   
3. For heading 4411, sub-headings 4411 11, items 4411 11 10, 4411 11 90, sub-heading 4411 19, items 4411 19 10, 4411 19 90, sub-heading 4411 21, items 4411 21 10, 4411 21 90, sub-heading 4411 29, items 4411 29 10, 4411 29 90, sub-heading 4411 31, item 4411 31 10, 4411 31 90, sub-heading 4411 39, items 4411 39 10, 4411 39 90, sub-heading 4411 91, items 4411 91 10 to 4411 91 90, sub-heading 4411 99, items 4411 99 10 to 4411 99 90 and the entries relating thereto, the following heading, sub-headings, items and entries shall be substituted namely:-
