In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments Handbook of Procedure, (Volume-I):

1. Fourth sub-para of Para 3.12 is amended to read as follows, “Software exporters shall register themselves with Electronic and Software Export Promotion Council. Exporters of 13 specific services as listed in Sl No. 34 of Appendix-2 of Handbook of Procedure (Volume -I) are required to register themselves with the Services Export Promotion Council. Other service exporters shall register themselves with Federation of Indian Exporters Organisation.”
2. Sixth sub-para of Para 3.12 is deleted.
3. The following is added in the list of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Board under Appendix-2 of the Hand Book of Procedure: -
