PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 29(RE-2007)/2004-09
DATED 24th July,2007.
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I)(RE2004 & RE2005):
- Para 3.2.5 (IX) of HBP v1 (RE2004) inserted vide Public Notice No. 16(RE2005) dated 4.6.2005 as well as Para 3.2.5 (IX) of HBP v1 (RE2005) inserted vide Public Notice No. 22(RE2006) dated 15.6.2006 are hereby replaced as under:
“Application shall be filed with jurisdictional regional authority as per the address given in the Status Certificate.”
Accordingly Zonal Committee is abolished. Zonal Offices shall transfer applications filed with them(including pending and deficient applications) to RA concerned, for further processing.
- In Para 3.2.5(V) of HBP v1 (RE2004) & HBP v1 (RE2005) the last sentence is replaced as under:
“However, a request for issuance of split certificate(s) after issuance shall be permitted and Split certificate with different port of registration shall also be allowed.”
- In Para 3.2.5(VI) of HBP v1 (RE2004) & HBP v1 ( RE2005) after the last sentence, the following shall be added:
“The certificate that are valid on date of issue of this Public Notice, shall have an extended validity for a further period of 12 months from the issue of this Public Notice, without equirement of endorsement of extended validity on the certificate from the concerned regional authority.”
This issues in Public interest.
