Amendments in the Table B of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09.

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.1, 2.1, 2.4 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Table B of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import items, 2004-2009:-
(i) In Chapter 2 captioning �Meat and Edible Meat Offal� the following Note 6 may be inserted after Note 5
� Export of meat and meat products will be allowed subject to the exporter furnishing a certificate to the customs at the time of export that the above items have been obtained/sourced from an abattoir/ meat processing plant registered with APEDA.�
(ii) In Column No.6 i.e. �Nature of Restriction�, condition No. 2 in respect of entries at Sl. No. 19 and 23 and condition No. (1) in respect of entries at Sl. No. 20,21,22,24 and 25 may be amended to read as follows:
