Amendments ITC (HS)
Notification No. 15 dated 10th
May 2000
In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of
the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3
and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government
hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export
and Import Items, 1997-2002 published on 31st March, 1997 (RE-98) as
amended from time to time, namely-
"1. The licensing note no.2, at the end
of chapters 84, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96 and 98 of ITC (HS)
Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002, is deleted.
2.
Public Notice No. 290(PN) dated 30.04.95, appearing at licensing note no.
3 to chapter 85 of ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items,
1997-2002 is withdrawn and the said licensing note is deleted."
This issues in Public Interest.
