G.S.R…(E) – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments to in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 26/2000-Customs, dated the1st March, 2000, number G.S.R.178 (E), dated 1^st March 2000, namely: -

In the said notification, in the TABLE, in List 5, for clause 1(a) and entries thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“(a) goods mentioned in List 2 and 3 and in Notifications No. 60/2000-Customs, dated the 12^th May, 2000 and 2/2007-Customs dated the 5^th January, 2007”.
