S.O.630 (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section
(1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of
Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department
of Revenue), No.62/94- Customs (N.T.) dated the 21st November, 1994, published
in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, section 3, sub-section (ii)
vide number S.O. 828 (E) dated the 21st November, 1994, namely:-
In the said notification in the Table, against serial number 8 relating to the
State of Maharashtra, in columns 3 and 4, for the existing entries pertaining to
the Dabhol Port, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

(a) Unloading of machinery and equipment for Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private
Limited Power Project.
(b) Unloading of fuel.
(c) Loading of imported machinery and equipment for export, imported for Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited Power Project.
(d) Unloading of goods for the manufacture and repairs of cargo ships, barges
and similar vessel by M/s. Bharati Shipyard Limited.
(e) Export by M/s. Bharati Shipyard Limited of cargo ships, barges and similar
vessels.” |
