In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A read with sub-section (6) of section section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules 1995, and based upon the findings of the designated authority in the matter of review of anti-dumping duties on Bisphenol-A originating in or imported from Japan that there is dumping of Bisphenol-A in India the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do hereby imposes on the said Bisphenol-A falling under Chapter 29 of the First Schedule to the said Act, originating in or export from Japan, when imported into India, anti dumping duty at the rate of Rs.8433 (Rupees Eight thousand four hundred and thirty four only) per metric tonne.

This notification shall be in force up to and inclusive of the 10th day of March 2000.
