Appointment of adjudicating authorities for customs cases

G.S.R. (E) � In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby amends the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 8/98-Customs (N.T), dated the 4th February,1998, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 66 (E), dated the 4th February, 1998, namely: -
In the said notification.-
(i) for the words, brackets and figures �Commissioner of Customs (II) (Air Cargo), New Delhi�, the words and brackets �Commissioner of Customs (Import and General), New Customs House, New Delhi� shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words, figures and the letters � Show Cause Notices dated the 3rd August,1994 � , the words, figures and the letters � Show Cause Notices dated the 29th July,1994, the 3rd August,1994 and the 9th August, 1994 respectively � shall be substituted;
(iii) for the entry � 34/XI/24/93-Inv� , the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
