Notification No.36 / 2012 - Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, dated the 23^rd April, 2012

S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby imposes on the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, GRFL, Sahnewal, Ludhiana, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-

1. the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, GRFL, Sahnewal, Ludhiana;
   
   
2. the Joint Commissioner or the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), Custom House, 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai-600 001;
   
   
3. the Joint Commissioner or the Additional Commissioner of Customs (port-Import), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai-400 001;
   
   
4. the Joint Commissioner or the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawahar Lal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Post: Uran, District-Raigad, Maharashtra-400 707; and
   
   
5. the Joint Commissioner or the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Port), 15/1, Strand Road, Custom House, Kolkata-700 001,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Jupiter Tools Corporation, 1, Minerva Motor Marhet, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-6 and M/s Suri & Co., 2712A, Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-6, issued vide, DRI F.No. 856(11)Ldh/2010/Pt.IV/265-279 dated the 13th February, 2012 by the Joint, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ludhiana Regional Unit, Ludhiana.
