S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise
and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner of Customs or Additional
Commissioner of Customs (Sea Port-Import), Chennai to exercise the powers
and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the Joint Commissioner of
Customs or Additional Commissioner of Customs (Sea Port-Import), Kolkata,
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice
pertaining to M/s Eastern Equipment Enterprises, No. 6D, Land Mark (Opp.
Minto Park), No. 228A, AJC Bose Road, Kolkata-20 and others, issued vide
F.No. VIII/48/28/2009-DRI dated the 1st June, 2010, by the Additional
Director, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Chennai Zonal Unit,
Chennai.
