S.O. (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Amritsar as an officer of Customs, and authorises him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the Commissioner of Customs, (Export Promotion), Nhava Sheva and the Commissioner of Customs, Kolkata, for the purpose of adjudicating the show cause notice issued vide DRI. F.No: 856(20)/LDH/2004, dated 3rd March, 2005 by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ludhiana Regional Unit, 51-D, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana to M/s. Shital Fibers Limited, A 17, Focal Point Extension, Industrial Area, Jalandhar and others.
