S.O. ( E ). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Mangalore, and authorizes him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the officers specified in the entry in column (4) of the Table below in respect of the matters specified in the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) of the said Table, for the purposes of adjudication, namely :-
