Notification No. 24 dated 20th
July 2000
In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraphs 1.3 and 4.1 of the
Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby bans sale of
Tea by Export Oriented Units (EOUs) and units in Export Processing Zones (EPZs)
in Domestic Tariff Area (DTA), notwithstanding anything contained in paragraphs
9.9 and 9.10 (b) of Export and Import Policy.
