Sub: Dis-continuation of issue of confirmation letter in respect of licences issued by this office
It has been noticed that despite online connectivity between the Customs and DGFT organisation a lot many requests for confirmation of issue of licences by this office is being received. It has been decided that with effect from 1.8.2006 this office would not entertain the requests for confirmation. The Office of Customs may verify the data online in DGFT site or CLA office site i.e. www.dgft.gov.in/dgftcla. Exporters/Importers are requested not to approach this office any further and may take up the matter with the Customs directly.
