In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, (2015-2020), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby revises the subject and Paragraph I of the
Public Notice No. 38/(2015-2020) dated 6th October, 2016 as under:

Subject: Procedure governing import of un-shredded scrap (HMS- I & HMS- II)

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, (2015-2020), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby inserts a new para (v) detailing the conditions governing clearance of imports of un-shredded scrap (HMS- I & HMS- II) by sea ports under Para 2.54 - Import of Metallic Waste and Scrap in the Handbook of Procedures, 2015-2020 as under: |

2. Effect of this Public Notice: The wordings HMS - I & HMS - II as appearing in
Public Notice No.38/ (2015-2020) dated 6th October, 2016 are replaced by un-shredded Metallic Waste and Scrap.
