Public Notice No. 54 dated 13th March 2000
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II-Section 3-Sub section (ii) vide S.O. No.283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1)(RE-99), 1997-2002.
Corrigendum
(2) In Public Notice No. 52(RE-99)/ 1997-2002 dated 1.3.2000.
(i) the entry at serial number 587 under paragraph 2(i) may be corrected to read as serial number 588 and subsequent entries at serial numbers 588, 589, 590, 591, 592, 593 may be corrected to read as 589, 590, 591, 592, 593 and 594 in consecutive order.
(ii) the description of item at entry No.592 may be corrected to read as "Identifiable ready to use machined parts/ components made wholly or predominantly of Stainless Steel (not less than 90% by weight) manufactured through casting process, not elsewhere specified."
