DES - Standard Input - Output Norms Added/ Modified
Public Notice No. 12 dated 1st June 2000
Attention is invited to Paragraph 4. 11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002 as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. l. 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures. Vol.2, 1997-2002 as amended from time to time.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11. of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended.
3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A" to this Public Notice shall be made.
4. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:
Chemicals and Allied Products:
After the existing entry at Sl.No.A-2428, the new entries from Sl.No.A-2429 to A-2438 shall be added as per Annexure "B" to this Public Notice.
Engineering Products:
After the existing entry at Sl.No.C-1530, the new entries from Sl.No.C-1531 to C-1537 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.
5. This issues in Public interest.
Amendments / Corrections
Besides, the following norms have been altered/ amended/ deleted vide this Public Notice:
Chemicals and Allied Products: A1412, A2299, A2301
Engineering Products: C169, C697, C698, C829, C876, C1315, C1503
Food Product: E51
Leather Product: G18
Plastic Product: H90
Sports Goods: I23
All these amendments have been incorporated in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. II). To view these changes, go to appropriate book sections.
