Duty Free Import of Tea against Advance Licence for export of Blended Tea
SALC Circular No. 6 dated 19th October 2000
Attention is invited to SALC Circular No. 10/98-99 dated 01.03.99 read with SALC Circular No. 2/99-2000 dated 05.07.99 and SALC Circular No. 7/99-2000 dated 17.11.99 on the subject mentioned above permitting import of Tea for export of blended tea under Advance Licensing Scheme.

Validity of the said circulars expired on 31.03.2000 and thus representations have been received from the trade/ exporters for further extension of these circulars.

The matter has been considered by ALC. It has been decided to extend the validity of these SALC Circulars beyond 31.3.2000 till further orders. All other conditions stipulated in these SALC Circulars viz. No. 10/98-99 dated 01.03.99 read with SALC Circular No. 2/99-2000 dated 05.07.2000 and SALC Circular No. 7/99-2000 dated 17.11.99 shall remain unchanged.

All the licensing Authorities are advised to strictly adhere to the conditions laid down in the above said SALC Circulars.
