is invited to this Office Circular No. 63/ 92-97 dated the 13th December 1995 on
the above subject.

both dated the 21st May, 19971, No. 20/ 97-NT- Customs and No. 21/ 97-NT-Customs
both dated the 27th May, 19971, No. 24/ 97 -NT -Customs and No. 25/ 97 -NT
-Customs both dated the 25th June, 19972 issued by Ministry of Finance (Deptt.
of Revenue), Central Board of Excise and Customs giving the rate of exchange for
conversion into Indian Rupees from the 21st May 1997 for the purpose of Section
14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) are forwarded herewith for information
and necessary action.
