Notification No. 93 dated 1st March 1983
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Textiles and Textile Articles) Act, 1978(40 of 1978) the Central Government hereby exempts all excisable goods produced or manufactured in a free trade zone from the whole of the additional duty of excise leviable thereon under the Additional Duties of Excise (Textiles and Textile Articles Act, 1978 (40 of 1978).
