Exim Policy - Import of used/ Second Hand Aircraft and Helicopters
Public Notice No. 22 dated 8th July 1999
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II- Section 3 - Sub-section (ii) vide S.O. No.83 (E) dated 31.3.1997, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby amends paragraph (2) of Public Notice No.274 (PN)/ 92-97 dated 23.02.95 namely-
The following Explanation shall be added after paragraph 4 thereof:
"Explanation. For purpose of this Public Notice, this expression "aircraft and helicopters" appearing therein shall be deemed to include used/ second hand aircraft and helicopters."
