In
exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3
of the Export and Import Policy 1997 -2002, the Central Government hereby makes
the following amendment in the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002.

In Chapter 16, Part I, Paragraph 16.1, the entry at SI. No.2 shall be
amended to read as under:
Exotic birds except those species of Exotic birds as specified in the
Public Notice issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade from time to time.

This issues in public interest.
