Export of Coarse Grain - Extension in date of Shipment
Public Notice No. 49 dated 13th November 2001
Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 1001(b) in Table B of Schedule 2 and Sr. No. 12(ii) of Appendix -1 to Schedule 2 in the book titled � ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 � (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) and as amended from time to time specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.
2. A specified quantity of Coarse grain (grain and flour of Barley, Maize, Bajra, Ragi and Jowar excluding Hybrid Jowar grown as kharif crop), and Maize was allowed for export by Director General of Foreign Trade under Public Notices No. 48(RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 15.12.2000, Public Notice No. 61(RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 13.3.2001 and Public Notice No. 64(RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 16.3.2001. The last date of shipment of export of above items was extended upto 31.10.2001 vide Public Notice No. 39(RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 01.10.2001.
3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31st March, 2001) and as amended from time to time, the last date of shipment/export of the quantities of coarse grain/maize allowed for export vide the above Public Notices is extended upto 31.12.2001.
