Policy Circular No. 71 dated 16^th March 1999

Attention is invited to Paragraph 12.2 (a) of Chapter 12 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) (RE-98), 1997-2002 and public Notice No.46 (RE-98)/ 1997-2002 dated 7th December, 1998 amending the last date for filing of application for grant/ renewal of any status as 30th November, 1998.

2.     In view of difficulties faced by the trade and industry on account of advancing the last date for submission of Export House, Trading House, Star Trading Houses and Super Star Trading House applicants, it has been decided that in cases where the application for status has been filed by 31st December, 1998, they may be considered within time limit for grant of status.
