Foreign Exchange Management (Manner of Receipt
and Payment) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (i) of sub section 6 and sub
section (2) of Section 47 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of
1999), the Reserve Bank of India makes the following amendments in the Foreign
Exchange Management (Manner of Receipt & Payment) Regulations, 2000 (hereinafter
referred to as ‘the Principal Regulations’) namely :-
1. Short title and commencement:-
- These Regulations may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Manner of
Receipt and Payment) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2013
- They shall come into force from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of the Regulations:
In Regulation 3, after sub regulation (2), the following shall be inserted
namely,
"(3) Any other mode of receipt of export proceeds for an export from India in
accordance with the directions issued by the Reserve Bank of India to authorised
dealers from time to time."
