Goods of specified description exempted from Customs Duty

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 27/2004-Customs, dated the 23rd January, 2004, published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 74 (E), dated the 23rd January, 2004, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table,-
(i) S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
(ii) against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (4), the entry �5%� shall be substituted;
(iii) against S. No. 3, for the entry in column (4), the entry �5%� shall be substituted;
(iv) S. No. 4 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
(v) S. No. 17 to S.No. 24 (both inclusive) and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
(vi) S. No. 26 to S.No. 32 (both inclusive) and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
(vii) after S.No.32 and the entries relating thereto, the following S.Nos. and entries shall be added, namely:-
