Sub : Import of waste paper
Attention is invited to Policy Circular No.78(RE-08/2004-09) dated 1.4.2009 on
the subject mentioned above. As per this Circular, the arrangement notified for
import of waste paper was to continue in operation for a period of 3 months from
1.4.2009.
2. In view of representations received from trade and industry and the fact that
Technical Review Committee in Ministry of Environment & Forests is re-examining
the import policy of waste paper, it has been decided to extend the validity of
Policy Circular No.78 dated 1.4.2009 for a period of three months from 1.7.2009.
3. This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
