Notification No. 18/2012-Customs
G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs
Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the
following regulations further to amend the Project Imports Regulations, 1986,
namely :-
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Project Imports (Amendment)
Regulations, 2012.
(2) They shall come into force on the 17th day of March, 2012.
2. In the Project Imports Regulations, 1986, in the Table,-
(i) against serial number 3G, for the entry under column heading „Name of the
Plant or Project‟, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“Project for installation of mechanized handling systems and pallet racking
systems in mandis and warehouses for food grains, sugar and horticulture
produce”;
(ii) after serial number 3H and the entries relating thereto, the following
serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
