Public Notice No. 64 dated 31st December 1998
Attention is invited to the Public Notice No. 26/ 97-2002, dated 14th July, 1997, wherein the conditions and procedures to be followed in respect of export of Sandalwood in the form of heartwood chips, mixed chips, flakes of the Sandalwood Classes mentioned in Annexure I to the said Public Notice, Sapwood chips/ powder and Sandalwood dust obtained as waste after the manufacturing process have been specified.
2. The Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Public Notice No. 26/ 97-2002, dated 14th July, 1997:
"The date of 31st October, 1998 appearing in Paragraph 8 of Public Notice No. 26/ 1997-2002 dated 14th July, 1997 amended vide Public Notice No. 3 (RE-98)/ 1997-2002 dated 13th April, 1998 shall be further amended to read as 31st March, 1999."
3. All other conditions of the above-mentioned Public Notice shall however remain unchanged.
4. This issues in Public interest.
