No. 41 dated 2nd April 1998
In exercise of the
powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation)
Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 4.1 of Export and import Policy,
1997 -2002, the Central Government hereby notifies the following amendment in
the "ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997-2002",
namely:
Column 4 of
the condition relating to the policy against Exim Code No. 010511 00, 01051200,
01051900, 01059200, 01059300 and 01059900 shall be amended to read as under:
"Import
permitted against a licence on the recommendation of Deptt. of Agriculture &
Co-operatives, Govt. of India."
2. This
issues in public interest.
