Notification No. 17 dated 26^th May 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002" (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2000).

The following amendment shall be made in the entry at ITC (HS) Code No.0703 in ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Imports items, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) at Schedule-2, Table-B in continuation to the Notification No. 46(RE-99)/ 1997-2002, dated 9th February, 2000.

The following shall be added at the end of Paragraph (iv) of Notification No. 11 (RE-2000)/ 1997-2000 dated 26^th April, 2000 read with Notification No. 16 (RE-2000)/ 1997- 2002 dated 17^th May, 2000.

'However in respect of NOCs issued in the month of May 2000, Shipment of exports can take place till 7^th June, 2000.'
