Notification No. 21/2011-Central Excise

New Delhi, dated the 24^th March, 2011

         G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 1/2011-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2011, published in the Gazette of India,Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 116(E), dated the 1st March, 2011, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table,-

1. against S.No. 33, for the entry in column (3), the entry “ Silic on in a ll forms other than s ilicon wafers” shall be substituted;
   
   
2.  in S. No. 89, in column (3), Explanation 3 shall be deleted;
   
   
3.  against S.No. 100, for the entry in column (3), the entry “ Radio trunking termina ls” shall be substituted;
   
   
4.  against S.No. 106, for the entry in column (3), “All goods (except Railwa y track machines falling under tariff item 8604 00 00)”sha ll be substituted.
