In
exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development
and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and
Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendment in Schedule 2, of the book titled "ITC (HS) Classification of
Export and Import Items 1997-2002" (as amended):
(i) The Words "Austria or" and
"Finland or" in the item description against Code 0006 in Table
A of Schedule 2
shall be deleted.
(ii) The entry at code No.4101 (a) relating to Raw hides
and skins in Table
B of Schedule 2 may
be amended to read as under:
