Revalidation and Extension in Export Obligation period of Advance Licences issued under Duty Exemption Scheme
Public Notice No. 40 dated 9th September 1997
Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 38/ (PN)/ 1997 -2002, dated 1st September 1997,
2. In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997 -2002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes following correction
i. The words "prior to 28.2.1995" shall be substituted on or before 28.2.1995�,
ii. The first sentence of Para 2 (vii) of above said Public Notice shall be amended to read as under:
"No revalidation/ extension in export obligation period will be allowed in the licences where misrepresentation/ fraud has come to the notice of Regional Licensing Authorities and/ or where any enforcement action has been initiated by Enforcement wing of Regional Licensing Authority/ Headquarter DGFT.
iii. The words "who had issued the licences" appearing in paragraph 3 of the above said Public Notice shall be deleted.
