Schedule 2 - ITC(HS) - Chapter 14 & 44 - Muli Bamboo (Melocanna baccifera) - freely exportable upto 31/3/2008

S.O.(E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (Sl. No.66) read with Para 1.3, 2.1 & 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 (as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby makes following amendments in the �Schedule � 2 of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-2009� :-
�Against S.No. 66 in Chapter 14 of Schedule � 2 , the entry under the column �Export Policy� may be read as �Free till 31.3.2008� instead of �Free till 31.3.2007�. Consequently Note No. 2 in Chapter 44 of Schedule �2 may also be read as � Muli Bamboo (Melocanna baccifera) is freely exportable up to 31.3.2008. The details may be seen in Chapter 14.�
