Notification No. 17/2016-Customs
New Delhi, Dated the 01st March, 2016
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being
satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the
following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in
the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue)
No. 25/99- Customs, dated the
28th February, 1999, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 161(E), dated the 28th February,
1999, namely :-
In the said notification, in the table, in list A,-
(i) against serial number 93, in column (4), after the words, “Thermistors,
varistors”, the words and figures “sub-miniature fuses, micro fuses, resettable
fuses and thermal fuses” shall be inserted;
(ii) against serial number 190, in column (4), after the words and figures,
“blade fuses 1 to 40 Amps, the words “sub-miniature fuses, micro fuses,
resettable fuses and thermal fuses” shall be inserted.
