Notification No.17/2012-Central Excise
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government,
being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby
rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry
of Finance (Department of Revenue), except as respects things done or omitted to
be done before such rescission, namely:-

No.2/2008 -Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2008, published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide
number G.S.R. 130 (E), dated the 1st March,2008 and was last amended vide
notification
No. 43/2011-Central Excise, dated the 30th December, 2011, which
was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R 938(E), dated the 30th December, 2011;

No.59/2008 -Central Excise, dated the 7th December, 2008, published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide
number G.S.R. 841(E), dated the7th December, 2008 and was last amended vide
notification
No. 9/2011-Central Excise dated the 1st March, 2011, which was
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (i), vide number. G.S.R 124 (E), dated the1st March, 2011;

No.18/2009-Central Excise, dated the 7th July, 2009, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number
G.S.R.476(E), dated the 7th July,2009 and was last amended vide notification
No.43/2011-Central Excise, dated the 30th December, 2011, which was published in
the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i),vide
number G.S.R 938(E), dated the 30th December, 2011.
