Transfer or Issue of Security – FEMA 46/01 Effective from Publication Date in Gazette

In the 9215">Notification No. FEMA 46/2001-RB dated 29th November, 2001 of the Reserve Bank of India, Exchange Control Department, Central Office, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R. 4(E) dated 29th November, 2001.
(i) In Regulation 1, in clause (ii), for the words �They shall come into force with immediate effect�, the words �They shall come into force from the date of publication in the Gazette�, shall be substituted and read.
(ii) At the end of the Notification, the following shall be added :
�Foot-note : The Principal Regulation were published in the Official Gazette vide No. G.S.R. 406(E) dated 03-05-2000 in Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) and subsequently last amended vide No. G.S.R. 547(E) dated 20th September, 2001.�
That as rectified and modified as aforesaid, the Principal Regulations shall remain in full force and effect.
