Master Circular Maintenance of Statutory Reserves
Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) and
Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR)
The Reserve Bank of India has been periodically issuing instructions to primary (urban) co-operative
banks (PCBs) regarding maintenance of Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) and Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) and matters related thereto. In order to enable the banks to have all the instructions at one place, a Master Circular incorporating all the currently operative instructions/guidelines on the subject up to October 31, 2006 has been prepared and is enclosed.
