NEW DELHI: Adani Green(Rs. 2190.68 crore), RIL(Rs. 1923.45 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 1564.90 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 1419.34 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1405.74 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1298.45 crore), Tata Elxsi(Rs. 1264.83 crore), Hindalco(Rs. 1238.26 crore), Angel Broking(Rs. 1089.15 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 1083.10 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 220.65 points down at 17171.95, while BSE Sensex fell 714.53 points to 57197.15.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.06 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(up 0.27 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 4.83 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 3.23 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 3.16 per cent), State Bank of India(down 3.04 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.97 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
