NEW DELHI: Adani Power(Rs. 75.24 crore), Life Insurance Corporation of India(Rs. 47.84 crore), RIL(Rs. 27.83 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 27.03 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 26.16 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 20.70 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 19.35 crore), Ruchi Soya Inds(Rs. 18.00 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 16.54 crore) and Adani Green(Rs. 15.91 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 90.2 points up at 16349.5, while BSE Sensex was up 280.13 points at 54598.6 as of 10:55AM(IST)on May 18.
In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.55 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.49 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.40 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) were among the top losers.
