NEW DELHI: Shares of Orient Refractories NSE 7.59 %, Rashtriya Chemicals NSE 11.22 %, Artemis Medicare Services NSE 8.25 % Ltd., Linc Pen Plast NSE 6.69 % and Karnataka Bank NSE 5.48 %, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 27.0 points to 18271.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Sabar Flex India Ltd., Inox NSE 0.93 % Green Energy Services Ltd., Phantom Digital Effects Ltd., Olectra Greentech NSE -5.25 % and Vivo Collaboration Solutions NSE -4.98 % Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital NSE 1.79 %, HDFC Life NSE 1.19 %, SBI NSE 1.11 %, JSW Steel NSE 1.26 % and Cipla NSE 0.25 % were among top gainers, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports
SEZ NSE -0.39 %, Tata Consumer, ITC NSE -0.28 % and TCS traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 88.2 points up at 61507.16 at 10:55AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Airlines, Telecommunications, Paper, Fertilisers and Logistics sectors, while selling was visible in Services, Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass and Miscellaneous sectors.
