Amendment in the Import Policy
Notification
No. 18 dated 14th November 2002
In
exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development
and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Export and Import
Policy, 2002-2007, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments
in the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2002-2007, published
on 31st March, 2002 as amended from time to time, namely- at the end
of Chapter 44 of the said ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items,
2002-2007, a new import licensing note shall be inserted as follows: -

licensing notes:

The Exim entry under ITC
(HS) Code No. 44160010 in this chapter shall also include used casks and
barrels. Imports of all items falling in this entry shall be free.
This
